Summary
The Information Security Architect will design and maintain Washington State's enterprise security architecture, resolving complex security issues that impact the state's ability to deliver mission-critical services to citizens and businesses. Reporting to the State Security Architecture Manager within Washington Technology Solutions, this role ensures systems meet or exceed state and federal regulatory requirements while sustaining public trust. Key qualifications
- 15 years combined IT experience including 6 years in networking, security, system or cloud administration in large IT environments
- 5 years in information security covering secure network/systems analysis, architecture, design or implementation
- 2 years supporting security and/or architecture standards and practices within large organizations
- 2 years leading complex IT projects with project management principles
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business administration, information security or related field may substitute for experience
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GISP, or CEH preferred
