Summary
The DVHA Digital Communications Manager leads the maintenance and operations of the Department of Vermont Health Access websites and digital content. This role manages both fast-paced projects with quick turnarounds and longer strategic initiatives, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. The position reports to the DVHA Director of Customer Communication and serves as the website and digital content subject matter expert.
Key qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, English, computer science, web/graphic design, political science, education, or related field plus 3+ years experience in communications, marketing, public relatio
- Experience with website administration (Drupal 10), website strategy, and website design
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with plain language
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams and using project management tools
- Preferred: Experience in media and client relations or public policy with focus on digital, web, or social media
