The Human Resources Information System Specialist reports to the Director of Human Resources at Virginia Military Institute and is responsible for optimizing HRIS platforms to enhance employee experience and HR organizational effectiveness. The role involves managing, configuring, and automating core HR processes; leading continuous evaluation of HR systems including payroll; resolving technical issues; and partnering with IT and cross-functional teams. - Proficiency in Excel, data management, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
