Summary
The Housing Capital Strategist provides centralized operational coordination, performance oversight, and strategic analysis for housing construction and operational initiatives at the University of South Carolina. The role oversees housing-related construction project management, ensures projects are delivered on time and within scope, and conducts operational analysis to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements. This position reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Housing and is located in Richland County, SC.
Key qualifications
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
- Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completion to meet schedules and deadlines
- Ability to interpret and apply rules and regulations
- Master's Degree and 5 years of demonstrated project management experience with programming, design, and management of projects (preferred)
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma (preferred)
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, or workflow tracking systems (preferred)
