Description
The SC Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) assists communities with financing for the construction of qualified public water, wastewater and storm water drainage facilities. The RIA manages state and federally funded grant programs, as well as two federally capitalized revolving loan programs for governmental entities and water and sewer utilities statewide. The current loan portfolio exceeds $1 billion, and the Agency is currently administering state grant funds as well as $1.4 billion in American Rescue Plan Act {ARPA) funding.
