Summary
The Opportunity Programs Analyst monitors and ensures compliance of contractors, consultants, and vendors working on DASNY-funded projects with Minority and Women-Owned Business (MWBE), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB), and applicable federal, state, and local laws. The role conducts audits, reviews contracts, prepares deficiency notices, attends project meetings, and educates vendors on DASNY policies and procedures. Based in the NYC office at 28 Liberty Street, this full-time position reports to the Opportunity Programs Group.
Key qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus three years relevant experience, or Associate's degree plus six years relevant experience, or High School diploma plus eight years DASNY relevant experience
- Experience using databases and generating reports from such databases
- Knowledge of Article 15-A of the Executive Law and other applicable contract compliance laws
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated analytical and conceptual abilities
- Proficiency in PC applications such as Outlook, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
