The Associate Vice President of Workforce Development will lead the design, implementation, and management of statewide workforce development initiatives for Empire State Development's priority industry sectors. Key qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 6 years of full-time experience in workforce development, adult and continuing education, or training
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing workforce development program contracts such as federally funded or WIOA programs
- Experience developing and implementing marketing and communication plans
- Supervision and team-based management experience
- Knowledge of New York State government processes relevant to economic and workforce development
