- Detailed knowledge of insurance practices, coverage terms, federal insurance statutes, and accounting principles applicable to the insurance industry
- Ability to supervise and coordinate staff, interpret legal and technical documents, and analyze insurance company financial records
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and represent the division at meetings with industry and regulatory agencies
- Up to 25% travel required and valid driver's license required
