The Director serves as the primary staff leader for the Maryland Commission on LGBTQIA+ Affairs, a 21-member statewide body established to assess challenges facing LGBTQIA+ communities and advise state government. The Director provides strategic leadership, coordinates Commission operations, builds partnerships across government and community, and manages external communications and grants to advance the Commission's statutory mission to improve the lives of LGBTQIA+ Marylanders.
