Summary
The Manager, Capital Programs leads day-to-day operations of capital programs within the Indiana Economic Development Corporation's Entrepreneurship and Small Business team. This role manages implementation of innovation, entrepreneurial, and small business debt and equity programs, including financial and data management for SSBCI capital programs, direct investment programs, and venture capital initiatives. The position also develops operational processes, manages grant proposals and stakeholder reporting, and supports resource development and marketing for statewide capital initiatives.
Key qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, entrepreneurship, or related field
- 2-3 years related professional work experience in business management or project management
- Significant computer experience including Microsoft Office and financial modeling software
- Experience analyzing startups and small businesses and executing initiatives
- Strong administrative and operational management capabilities
- Ability to work independently, manage complex documents, and influence stakeholders at all levels
