Summary
This Senior Management Analyst II position is a senior-level internal audit role within the Department of Health's Office of Inspector General, reporting to the Director of Auditing. The incumbent will perform complex internal audit engagements of DOH contracts, prepare audit objectives and plans, conduct fieldwork using various audit techniques, and prepare detailed audit reports and recommendations. The position requires strong computer skills, independent judgment, and the ability to communicate professionally with staff at all levels and external contractors.
Key qualifications
- Three or more years of significant contract management and/or contract auditing experience with private or government entities
- Four-year degree in accounting or business from an accredited institution (or extensive contract management/auditing experience may substitute)
- Strong writing, verbal communication, logical thinking, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of internal audit standards including International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing preferred
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and maintain independent, impartial attitude
