Summary
This Program Analyst II position in the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles provides guidance and support to Tax Collectors, license plate agencies, and regional office employees regarding driver license and motor vehicle policy. The incumbent analyzes and improves the effectiveness of motor vehicle and driver license programs, troubleshoots systems and equipment, and handles high-volume inquiries in the Customer Service Center. The role is telework-eligible with required periodic onsite work and a minimum 30-day in-office training period.

- Knowledge of state and federal laws related to Driver License, Motor Vehicle Title, Tag and Registration
- Skill in using CSC Expert, FDLIS, FRVIS, CDLIS, ORION, DLI, and Motorist Maintenance systems
- Ability to analyze situations, determine key issues, and develop solutions for operational improvements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to compose correspondence, policies, and procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues for motor vehicle and driver license issuance systems
- Preference for 1.5 years Customer Service Analyst II/III experience or equivalent background
