This position provides operational oversight and administration of the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health's Transitional Case Management programs. The Behavioral Health Administrator I coordinates daily operations, supervises staff, monitors program performance and service delivery, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborates with internal and community partners to support effective transitions and continuity of care.
Key qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Public Administration, Public Policy, Behavioral, Social or Health Science or related field
- Six months experience in grant management and control including monitoring and evaluating grant expenditures
- Knowledge of contract management and compliance with contract terms
- Knowledge of staff supervision through coursework, training, or direct supervisory experience
- Pre-employment drug testing and criminal background check required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
